The school was established in January 1989 with consistent efforts of Sh. Darbari Lal ji. In short span of time it has made a quantum leap and a phenomenal progress. a commitment to excellence has enabled us to attain the success we sought.

Under the aegis of DAV College Managing Committee, the school not only propagates Vedic values but a secular attitude and respect for the diversity. 

The school is a winner of 'NCERT Innovative Practices award", " CBSE award for sports promotion", " Top global school Enterprise Challenge award", "ISA Reaccreditation (2016-19)" etc. Not only this our faculty members have won awards and accolades including state award for teachers, GTA, SEC Inspirational teacher award etc. We regularly organise blood donation camps, visit to old age homes and orphanages. The school clubs provide a suitable platform for the students to realize and showcase their hidden talents and interests. The school organizes mega cultural events where massive involvement of students gives them a runway to take the filght of expression. Our staff and students have visited different countries and are part of exchange programmes. The Ministry of Environment and Forest has recognised our efforts of saving environment and our students are also made part of nature walks and heritage walks.

Complying with MHRD and CBSE guidelines, in the coming future also the school plans to stride ahead and fulfil the planned goals and realize the purpose of education. A dynamic team effort with a result oriented support to students and community will strategize the further realization of our dynamic goals.

It is a vibrant, active endeavor of the students and staff with a prime concern of protecting and conserving our environment. It is involved in plethora of activities and have implemented many green solutions in our school which include- Segregation of waste   Say No to plastics Herbal   Garden Huge Biodiversity E-waste recycling and safe disposal   Composting of waste    Reuse, reduce, recycle, regenerate practices.
